An established technology-led engineering business is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive growth across the UK and European markets. This is a high-profile opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional who enjoys developing new business, managing distribution networks, and building strong customer relationships across international territories.

The role of a Sales Manager will include:

• Develop and execute sales strategies across the UK and European markets
• Identify and secure new business opportunities and high-value customer accounts
• Manage, support and grow distribution partner networks across Europe
• Promote integrated hardware, software and remote monitoring solutions
• Represent the business at trade shows, industry events and customer demonstrations
• Work closely with marketing teams to support market growth and customer engagement
• Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts
• Monitor performance against sales targets, quotations, meetings and revenue objectives
• Negotiate commercial agreements while maintaining strong long-term customer relationships

The ideal Sales Manager should have the following skills and experience:

• Proven sales or business development experience within the Power Utilities or Industrial sectors (Power Utilities experience desirable)
• Experience selling integrated hardware and software solutions, SaaS platforms or application-based products (desirable)
• Strong background in managing and developing third-party distribution partners
• Excellent business development, account management and relationship-building skills
• Commercially astute with strong negotiation capabilities
• Comfortable travelling internationally on a regular basis (approximately 40-50%)
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage a territory autonomously
• Strong CRM and sales pipeline management skills
