Fire & Security Engineer

Our client is looking for an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to carry out installation, maintenance, fault-finding, and emergency callouts across Hampshire and neighbouring areas.

• Diagnose and resolve faults across Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Access Control, and networking systems
• Install, maintain, test, and commission systems to industry standards
• Attend emergency callouts and participate in an out-of-hours rota
• Liaise with clients and Alarm Receiving Centres (ARC)
• Complete paperwork accurately and follow Health & Safety procedures
• Provide basic user training and system demonstrations

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Fire or Security engineering role
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
• Willingness to travel across Hampshire and surrounding counties

• Knowledge of IP-based systems and networking
• Experience with systems such as Hikvision, Paxton, Honeywell, Texecom, Orisec, AJAX, Dahua, Hanwha, PAC, or Videx
