Requirements

Java Core (version 8+)
Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and Spring Framework, including development with Hibernate
Good knowledge of developing REST services within HTTPS
Experience developing within a microservice architecture
Experience with web services using RESTful APIs
Experience with distributed systems
Knowledge and use of software design patterns
Experience working in agile development processes
Experience with CI/CD delivery techniques
Experience with source code management using Git
Experience using issue tracking systems such as Jira
Experience with UML/SysML using Enterprise Architect or similar tools
Ability to self-motivate and work well within a team environment

Ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders in a confident and professional manner

Responsibilities

Join a 7-member scrum team within a wider program delivering a management system for a new satellite
Contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle, including design, development, and testing
Design solutions, particularly using UML
Develop software, particularly using Java technologies
Test software and features as part of the delivery process
Develop code within an agile scrum environment
Work with the team to design, implement, and test features for a new product development
Estimate tasks in accordance with sprint planning
