Wild Recruitment is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join a leading national distribution company based in Portsmouth (Hilsea). This is a fantastic opportunity for professional drivers looking for flexible shifts, competitive pay, and the potential for long-term employment.

Shift Patterns Available

Days, Nights, Weekends

Fixed shift patterns available

Minimum 8 hours paid per shift (Umbrella)

Key Responsibilities

Operate refrigerated Class 1 (C+E) vehicles

Predominantly motorway driving

Nationwide deliveries to retailers and wholesalers

Complete delivery documentation accurately

Adhere to company policies and transport legislation

Occasional manual handling required

Requirements

Full UK Driving Licence with Category C+E

Valid Digi Tacho and CPC card

Minimum 1 year of Class 1 driving experience

Ability to pass a 2-day assessment (includes driving test, Highway Code, H&S training)

Day 1:
Driving & Highway Code assessment

Day 2:
Health & Safety, operational briefing, role expectations
