- Build a program within the Division of Surgical Oncology and the Department of Surgery
- Enjoy a 1:5 call schedule with no ED or trauma call responsibilities
- Teach medical students and residents as an integral part of the general surgery training program
- Advance academic career through publications, invited talks, and participation in academic societies
- Create and develop a new colorectal surgery program from the ground up
- Access collaborative research opportunities in both clinical and basic science
- Practice broad-based general colorectal surgery, including benign and malignant disease
- Develop practice according to your interests and expertise areas
- Collaborate in a multidisciplinary manner with colleagues across numerous specialties
