Position: Junior Program Analyst (Ship Sheets)

We have immediate hire openings for Junior Program Analyst (Ship Sheets)to join our SURFMEPP Team supporting Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) in Portsmouth, VA, who wants to grow with the Company. Security Clearance:

  • Applicant must hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance.

Responsibilities:

  • Reviews class maintenance plans and tasks and assigns man-days to each CNO ship availability viaShip Sheets, to include correcting and adjudicating fielding plans. The Ship Sheet documents labor and material cost associated with each ship’s CNO availability maintenance requirements and is developed by comparing the current condition of the ship against the TFP to determine specific maintenance tasks required to “fix” the ship.

    These costs in turn inform the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) process and support ships meeting their ESL.Ship Sheets include planned and previously deferred maintenance requirements.

    Ship Sheets are a critical tool in the POM budget process to clearly articulate the resources required to perform the maintenance on our ships to achieve their ESL.
  • Provides engineering analyses for ship systems to include planning, system modeling, verification, and validation.
  • Plans and conducts Test and Evaluation of ship systems.
  • Assist in developing and analyses CONOPS.
  • Uses engineering models to support analysis of new ship systems.

Experience Requirements:

  • 4 years in US Navy surface ships (preferably in Engineering ratings) with 3M experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially MS Excel.
  • An understanding of US Navy HM&E and Combat Systems maintenance and terminology

Educational Requirements:

  • HS Diploma or GED
