Entry Level Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking an entry-level Mechanical Engineer to join our team as the first engineer on board. This position offers the unique opportunity to work directly under the Chief Technology Officer/Chief Engineer, contributing to the development of new products and playing a key role in building out our engineering department.

• Collaborate with the Chief Technology Officer/Chief Engineer to develop new products.
• Assist in building and expanding the engineering department.
• Utilize AutoCAD and other design software for mechanical design tasks.
• Engage in mechanical engineering projects and tasks as needed.

• Proficiency in mechanical engineering principles.
• Experience with mechanical design and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of new product development processes.

• Internships or hands‑on experience in a related field are preferred.
• Eligibility for a DoD Security Clearance.

• This position is on‑site with a schedule of Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM.
• The role offers the chance to be part of a dynamic startup environment in the Hampton Roads area, providing opportunities for professional growth and development.

This is a Permanent position based out of Portsmouth, VA.

The pay range for this position is $30.00–$37.00/hr.
