Paramedic
Aspen Medical offers temporary contracted medical services to Military Treatment Facilities across the United States. This posting is located at the primary Naval Medical Center site.

Minimum Qualifications- Certification:
Nationally Registered Paramedic (NRP) from NREMT or State of Virginia Paramedic certification, plus AHA or ARC ACLS and PALS. - Education:
Graduate from an accredited NREMT program. - Experience:
Twelve (12) months of experience as an
-P after graduation. - Licensure:
Licensure required to operate any Emergency Vehicle (EV)/Ambulance as applicable by duty location.
- Serve as a Paramedic on a Specialty Care Team (SCT) providing specialized, intensive observational monitoring to critically ill patients (surgical, medical, pediatric).
- Conduct long‑distance inter‑facility critical care patient transfers, including transport to higher‑level care hospitals and medical centers.
- Administer critical care drugs requiring specialized knowledge of monitoring and infusion equipment, dosage calculations, and potential complications.

- Contract:
Year‑long assignment. - Shift schedule: 8, 10, or 12‑hour day, evening, or night shift on a rotating basis; typical shifts include 0600‑1800, 1500‑2300, 2200‑0600, 1800‑0600. Weekend work and alternate shifts may be required. No contract personnel may work more than 80 hours in a two‑week period.

Shift scheduling and any changes are coordinated with the designated government representative; notice of 72 hours required for schedule changes.
