Medical Assistant

• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) while upholding HIPAA compliance.
• Greet and prepare patients for examinations, ensuring comfort and professionalism.
• Obtain and document vital signs, medical history, and patient concerns.
• Assist providers during examinations, treatments, and minor procedures.
• Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers.
• Perform phlebotomy, specimen collection, and basic laboratory testing.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and medical equipment.
• Coordinate patient scheduling, follow-ups, and appointment reminders.
• Manage front-office tasks such as answering phones, verifying insurance, and processing documentation.
• Educate patients on prescribed medications, treatments, and preventive care.

• High school diploma or GED required;
  Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA) preferred.
• Previous experience in a clinical or outpatient setting is a plus.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent patient care.
• Knowledge of basic medical procedures, terminology, and infection control protocols.

• Experience in primary care, family practice, or outpatient clinics.
• Familiarity with telemedicine workflows and hybrid care models.
• Bilingual proficiency is a plus.
