Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist experienced with GE VCT 64 and GE EVO 64 systems, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of CT experience.
Responsibilities- Work in a hospital CT department equipped with GE VCT 64 and GE EVO 64 scanners
- Patient cases include CT head, neck, perfusion, PE studies, runoff's, GI bleeds, aneurysms, and routine chest, abdomen, and pelvis exams
- Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM shifts
- May occasionally perform vascular and emergency studies
- Must pass EKG testing on the first day with up to two attempts; study guides are provided
- Strong patient care and communication skills are essential
- 50-mile radius rule applies for travel pay eligibility
- Locals are accepted
- Manager will review and interview candidates
- Responsibilities include independently gathering and analyzing data and producing scan output to established standards
- Current ARRT(R) certification and BLS required
- Ohio Department of Health Radiologic Technologist License required if applicable
- A minimum of 1 year recent CT experience and 2 years of radiology experience preferred
- Demonstrated experience with GE VCT 64 and GE EVO 64 CT systems required
- High level of technical skill and critical thinking abilities needed
- Preferred: ARRT(R)(CT) certification, ACLS, and prior travel experience
