# SharePoint Power Apps Developer# SharePoint Power Apps Developer Location Portsmouth , Virginia### Description Steel Gate  LLC is looking for a SharePoint Power Apps Developer to join our team. We need an experienced and innovative professional to design, develop, and manage solutions that streamline our business processes and enhance collaboration across the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of both SharePoint and the Microsoft Power Platform, with a focus on creating robust, scalable applications.

You'll be a key player in our IT department, building custom solutions that directly impact our efficiency and productivity.  Requirements:  
• DoD Top Secret SCI Security Clearance  
• Ability to work on-site at NNSY  
• Minimum of seven (7) years of experience as a SharePoint Developer or Power Apps Developer, of which at least three (3) years must be specialized  
• Experience in developing and administering SharePoint solutions and Power Apps applications.  
• Demonstrated experience as described below  
1. SharePoint Development and Administration:
Expertise in developing and deploying SharePoint solutions, including custom web parts, workflows, lists, libraries, content types, and site collection management in both SharePoint Online and On-Premises.
Administration of SharePoint environments, including user permissions, security, and governance.
Configuration and management of SharePoint sites, document management systems, and collaboration solutions.
Knowledge of SharePoint Designer, Info Path, and Power Automate for workflow automation.  
2. Power Apps Development:
Proven experience in creating custom Power Apps solutions, including both Canvas and Model-driven apps.
Design and implementation of Power Automate workflows to streamline processes and integrate with external data sources like SQL, SharePoint, or third-party APIs.
Experience in connecting Power Apps to various data sources, leveraging   Common Data Service (CDS) and implementing business rules within apps.
3. Technical Tools and Frameworks:
Proficiency in utilizing the SharePoint Framework (SPFx) to create client-side solutions.
Knowledge and practical use of modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular) in conjunction with SharePoint and Power Apps.
Strong command of REST APIs, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery for developing custom SharePoint web parts and Power Apps integrations.  
4. Troubleshooting and Maintenance:
Experience in troubleshooting issues within SharePoint environments and Power Apps solutions, including performance optimization, error diagnosis, and resolution.
Regular system maintenance and updates to ensure the stability, security, and availability of SharePoint and Power Apps solutions.

Education:

Must have a bachelor's degree in an IT- related discipline (such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering) OR DoD IAT Level II Certification (Security+ or better) AND four (4) years of relevant experience as described above.  Relevant Certifications such as Microsoft Certified:  
• Power Platform Developer Associate  
• SharePoint Developer  
• or similar certifications are highly desirable.
