Lin Tech Global is looking for an Audio-Visual Technician to support our efforts at the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, Va.

The Audio-Visual Technician will set up, operate, maintain and repair equipment used to enhance live events, such as microphones, video recorders, projectors, lighting and sound mixing equipment. You will record meetings and presentations with video cameras, operate spotlights, adjust amplifiers, coordinate graphics used in displays and provide technical support for teleconferences, webinars and distance-learning classes. The Technician may also edit, copy and store videotapes and DVDs, track inventory of equipment and order supplies.

Lastly, you will operate and maintain equipment used to amplify, record and display sound and images at live events.

• One year of experience as an Audio-Visual technician.
• Associate degree or substitute with at least 5 years of related experience
• Must have experience with: punch-downs, rack installations, terminations on patch panels, and data jacks, installation and testing/Category 3, 5, and 6 copper, COAX, and Fiber preferred.
• Experience installing and implementing technical solutions to meet customer requirements. Preferred:
  Working knowledge of vendor products and technologies from Crestron, AMX, Extron, Promethean, Clear One, Electro-Voice, etc.
• Ability to read blueprints/floor plans, door elevations, riser diagrams, point to point drawings and schematics.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools
• Strong troubleshooting ability
• Strong attention to detail

• NACLAC clearance
