We are currently seeking skilled Forklift & Aerial Lift Operator s for a potential 5-year project in Norfolk, VA. This opportunity involves hands-on labor working at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, offering a dynamic and fast-paced environment for experienced professionals. Note :
This position is contingent upon contract award. Employment will begin only if and when the company secures the government contract associated with this role. Overview :
Operate forklifts and aerial lifts to transport materials and support shipyard projects. Responsibilities :
* Safely operate forklifts and aerial lifts to 90ft.
* Move and stage materials throughout shipyard.
* Perform pre-use inspections on equipment.
* Follow shipyard safety and load handling procedures. Qualifications :
* Active DoD Secret clearance required .
* Forklift and A erial L ift certification required .
* 2+ years operating forklifts/lifts in industrial settings.
* Ability to handle heavy loads and work at high heights .
