Production Associate

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Associate to join our growing team at our Portsmouth, VA facility. As a Production Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our production processes run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities Assist in the setup and operation of production machinery and equipment.

Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are met.

Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment.

Clean, Package and label finished products for shipment.

Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations.

Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Report any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor promptly.

Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred.

LEAN Manufacturing experience is a plus.

Ability to read, understand, and fulfil customer orders in various formats

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Ability to accurately read drawings, instructions, and measurements.

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Basic mechanical skills and familiarity with production equipment.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.

Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
