Volunteer Opportunity

Awaken the Kings Legacy‑In‑Action Summit is a three‑day event designed to empower young fathers with access to vital resources, mentorship, and education. The summit will feature workshops on parenting, economic mobility, legal rights, business development, and wellness. Participants will engage with community leaders, gain valuable tools for building legacy, and connect with organizations offering direct services and opportunities.

We are seeking volunteers to assist with morning setup, check‑in, session guidance, giveaway distribution, vendor support, and end‑of‑day breakdown. Shifts will be available for mornings, afternoons, or full‑day participation. Volunteers will receive refreshments and can request a certificate of participation.

• Morning Setup Crew – Help set up tables, signage, and prepare the space for attendees and vendors.
• Registration & Check‑In – Greet and check in participants, speakers, and vendors.
• Wayfinding & Session Guides – Direct attendees to workshops and provide general event navigation support.
• Participant Support & Giveaway Distribution – Hand out t‑shirts, swag bags, and workshop materials to registered participants.
• Vendor & Partner Liaisons – Provide assistance to vendors, community partners, and guest facilitators as needed.
• Break Relief Runners – Float support between roles and provide breaks to other volunteers.
• End‑of‑Day Breakdown Crew – Assist with clean‑up and resetting spaces for the following day.

• Morning Shift – 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• Afternoon Shift – 12:30 PM – 5:30 PM (30‑minute overlap for smooth transition)

On the signup form, volunteers should select preferred shift time(s), preferred role(s), and days available (Dec 8, 9, 10).
