Registered Nurse, ER: Night Shift

Location: Naval Medical Center Portsmouth

Compensation: $50.00 / hour

Registered Nurse (RN) Full & PRN shifts available at NMCP Emergency Room!

RNs work alongside active duty military professionals, civilians and other contractors to provide mission essential care to patients requiring minor care to life-threatening critical care at this ER - Level 1 Trauma Center.

• Perform assessments and document patient responses
• Perform procedures as directed, such as:
• IV insertion & removal
• Catheterizing
• Venipuncture
• Collect Lab specimens
• Hemodynamic monitoring

Registered Nurse must have the following:

• Current, valid, professional RN license from any US jurisdiction
• All of the following life support certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC or ATCN
• Minimum of 1 full year of experience, within the past 2 years in an Emergency Department setting
