Overview
AIMS Locum Tenens is seeking dependable and skilled LPNs/LVNs to support the OB/GYN Outpatient Clinics nurse will assist with direct patient care, vital signs, health documentation, and routine gynecological and prenatal procedures. This role supports a fast-paced, collaborative women's healthcare clinic focused on prevention, early diagnosis, and care coordination.

- General Duties:
Provide care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or healthcare provider - General Duties:
Deliver services as outlined in the clinical scope and contract - General Duties:
Support patient preparation and flow in the outpatient setting - General Duties:
Maintain infection control, safety, and documentation standards - Specific Duties:
Prepare exam rooms and assist with OB/GYN visits and minor procedures - Specific Duties:
Obtain and document vital signs, weight, height, and medical history - Specific Duties:
Collect specimens for labs (e.g., pap smears, cultures) - Specific Duties:
Administer injections and medications as directed - Specific Duties:
Schedule patient appointments and provide follow-up instructions - Specific Duties:
Support patient education for prenatal care, contraception, or procedures - Specific Duties:
Maintain equipment, instruments, and supplies in the clinical area - Specific Duties:
Cross-cover within women’s health clinics when needed
- Degree: Certificate or diploma from an accredited LPN/LVN program
- Education: Graduate from a state-approved or military-accredited nursing program
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- Experience: Minimum of one year of recent clinical experience in women’s health, OB/GYN, or outpatient settings
- Licensure: Current, active, unrestricted LPN or LVN license in any U.S. state or territory
- Skills and Abilities: Experience supporting OB/GYN visits and patient care tasks
- Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of common women’s health procedures
- Skills and Abilities: Strong attention to detail with patient documentation
- Skills and Abilities: Familiarity with electronic medical records
- Skills and Abilities: Professional and empathetic bedside manner

Monday to Friday
Services provided 0700–1800 (7 AM – 6 PM)
Up to 40 hours per week
No weekend or holiday work required
Work Environment- OB/GYN outpatient clinics in a military medical center
- Patient-facing, clinical exam room setting
- Cross-coverage to other women’s health services may be required
Must provide proof of vaccination (MMR, Varicella, TDAP, Hep B, Flu) and TB screening
Security RequirementMust complete background check and credentialing process (approx. 45–90 days)
