Quality Applications Engineer

Metal Quest Unlimited, Inc. is seeking a skilled Quality Applications Engineer to lead and oversee application‑driven processes within our high‑precision manufacturing facility. This role emphasizes engineering applications and process improvement, while maintaining strong focus on quality control. The ideal candidate will bring leadership skills, critical thinking abilities, and a background in engineering. Exposure to machining, computational logic, and GD&T is preferred.

The position will collaborate closely with the Applications Engineering team, Quality team, and Production Team to streamline communication and facilitate collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Applications Engineers to integrate innovative solutions that improve accuracy, manufacturability, and repeatability.
  • Apply problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills to solve complex challenges.
  • Execute quality control efforts, ensuring standards are consistently achieved across all production processes.
  • Foster teamwork, a positive work environment, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Strong leadership skills are a must.
  • Management experience is a plus but not required.
  • Strong critical thinking and engineering‑based problem‑solving skills.
  • Minimum 2 years of industry experience in engineering, machining, or quality control is preferred.
  • Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
