Atlas Staffing is hiring a Design Engineer for aerospace applications in Post Falls, Idaho. As a key contributor to the team at ATC Manufacturing, you will design and develop high-performance composite structures used in aerospace vehicles and systems.

• Develop and design advanced composite structures for aerospace applications using thermoplastic composites.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet performance, manufacturability, and certification requirements.
• Support prototype builds, testing, and certification documentation while maintaining compliance with FAA, EASA, and AS9100 standards.

• Design and model aerospace components using thermoplastic composites.
• Perform structural and thermal analysis with FEA tools (Abaqus, ANSYS).
• Partner with manufacturing teams on DFM/DFA and advanced processes.
• Support prototype builds, testing, and certification documentation.
• Maintain design documentation, configuration control, and compliance.

• Bachelor's in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Materials Engineering (or related field).
• 3+ years of experience in composite design engineering, preferably aerospace.
• Strong skills in CAD and FEA; familiarity with aerospace regulations.
• U.S. Person per ITAR requirements.

• Shift: Full-time
• Pay: $80,000.00 – $ per year
