Job Description

The primary responsibility while working as a physical therapy technician is to assist in maintaining patient flow of the clinic. The tech will assist patients to the treatment area and provide modalities to patients (such as heat packs, ice packs, electrical stimulation) under the direct supervision of a physical therapist. Candidates should possess a strong commitment to personal and professional growth, customer service, and the ability to work as a team.

They should have excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Prepare and maintain equipment and treatment rooms
  • Maintain patient flow in the clinic between patients, therapists and schedulers
  • Clean patient care areas and sanitize equipment
  • Laundry duties & stocking supplies
  • Opening and closing tasks
  • Assist patients with modalities (including heat packs, ice packs, electrical stimulation, and ultrasound) under the direct supervision of a physical therapist
Essential Qualifications
  • Regular and predictable attendance
  • Majority of the shift is spent standing and walking
  • Read a variety of printed and handwritten materials and take verbal instruction
  • Communicate with patients, therapists, and coworkers
  • No prior medical experience is required for this position
Hours & Schedule

15–40 hours per week. Clinic is open Monday–Friday 7am to 6pm (shifts start 30 minutes before open and end 30 minutes after close).

Pay: Starting at $14.00/DOE

Location

Coeur d’Alene,  – Relocate before starting work (required). In person.
