Atlas Staffing is hiring an expert-level Hydraulic Specialist Assembler for a premier manufacturing client in Post Falls, Idaho
.
This is a fantastic temp-to-hire opportunity for a highly skilled technician to serve as a technical resource, leading advanced assembly, testing, and diagnostics of complex hydraulic systems. This role features a 4×10 schedule with a three-day weekend every week! You will be a key partner to the engineering team and a mentor to junior assemblers, ensuring all work meets the highest safety and quality standards.
Job SummaryThe Hydraulic Specialist Assembler leads the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of advanced hydraulic systems on industrial equipment. This role requires reading complex schematics, performing diagnostics, and partnering with engineering to improve product design and performance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the assembly and integration of complex, multi-circuit hydraulic systems.
- Read, interpret, and validate hydraulic schematics, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify root causes of system issues.
- Verify system performance through pressure testing, flow testing, and calibration.
- Inspect components for wear, contamination, and failure modes to improve reliability.
- Partner with the Engineering department to improve product design and manufacturability.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and training to other assemblers on hydraulic best practices.
- Maintain high standards for organization, tool control, and fluid cleanliness.
- 5+ years of experience working with hydraulic systems in heavy industrial, construction, or manufacturing environments.
- Expert-level knowledge of hydraulic troubleshooting, contamination control, and component functionality.
- Strong ability to read and interpret complex hydraulic schematics and circuit logic.
- Proven ability to mentor and support junior team members.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding role.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Technical training, military hydraulic experience, or IFPS Certification is highly preferred.
