Position Overview
Here at Alien Gear Holsters, we are the leading brand in a vastly growing category. AGH is seeking an eCommerce Email and SMS Specialist who will work as a member of our marketing team, reporting to the Director of E-commerce. This role will support our fast-growing e-commerce business and gain valuable experience in DTC marketing, e-commerce, and customer engagement.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Strategize, build, and execute weekly email campaigns and make updates to existing email flows.
- Optimize all email flows.
- Work with the Social Media, graphics, and copywriting team to ensure email, web and social communications are aligned.
- Use the Klaviyo email platform and Slicktext SMS platform to manage the email & SMS calendar including buildouts and scheduling.
- Utilize platform data to identify key segments of consumers that can be re-targeted in unique ways to drive incremental revenue to the business and increase customer lifetime value.
- Track email & SMS data to maximize campaign performance, aiming for engagement, conversion, revenue, and growth goals.
- Stay on top of the competitive email landscape as well as email trends and best practices.
- Report on findings to the team for visibility and awareness.
- Work cross-functionally to troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.
- Special projects as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree in marketing or related field.
- 2 - 4 years of experience in Email and SMS.
- Proficiency in key design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop & Illustrator), milanote, Figma, and canva.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel), and Adobe Acrobat.
- Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong grammatical skills, copywriting experience a plus!
- Multi-tasker who works well with defined deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Must be relentless in maintaining a high level of quality throughout their work.
- Highly organized and calendar driven, with the ability to handle many competing priorities.
- This is expected to work Monday - Friday in the office. No relocation. No work from home.
- Cultural fit.
- Industry knowledge and/or experience is a plus.
- Highly motivated, organized individual with ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
- Self-starter who can identify new opportunities, analyze a problem and develop tactics/strategies to drive growth.
- Outstanding communication and customer contact skills required.
- Ability to work well in a team environment under tight deadlines.
- Competitive Salary within $60,000-$65,000
