Position: REGISTERED NURSE (RN) - PRE-OP/PACU

THIS POSITION IS ELIGIBLE FOR A $1000 SIGN-ON BONUS

Northwest Specialty PACU Unit is seeking a compassionate, patient-focused RN to join the team!

This position offers either 4 ten-hour shifts or 3 twelve-hour shifts per week.

In this fast-paced role, you will provide professional nursing care in our PACU/Pre-Op Unit, working with patients in both pre-op and recovery phases. The typical patient-to-nurse ratio is 2:1, but may vary based on department needs. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, delegating nursing tasks, managing schedules, overseeing admissions and discharges, and monitoring and ordering medications and supplies.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience in PACU, critical care, or emergency room settings is strongly preferred.
  • Current RN licensure in the State of Idaho.
  • BSN degree is preferred.
  • Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
  • ACLS certification within six months of employment.
  • PALS certification within six months of employment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English for safe patient care and documentation.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Knowledge of professional nursing standards and adherence to them.
