Automotive Sales Consultant

Findlay CJDR Post Falls is seeking a customer‑oriented and results‑driven Sales Consultant to help grow our business and meet high demand. Our team sells with a consultative approach and is committed to creating a great buying and ownership experience for clients. Candidates with direct experience are encouraged to apply, but no experience is required; we will train.

Responsibilities
  • Self‑motivated & able to set achievable goals
  • Build relationships & create customers for life; assist them in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses
  • Be the expert: know the ins & outs of product offerings, optional packages, and latest technology
  • Perform high‑quality and professional demonstrations
  • Work all showroom floor and internet leads to ensure maximum performance
  • Follow up with buyers to ensure referral business
  • Learn to overcome objections and thrive in sales situations
  • Report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analysis
  • Complete required training and stay current on new products, accessories, and features
Qualifications
  • Experience in Sales is preferred but not required
  • Available to work evenings & weekends
  • Drive for financial rewards
  • Professional, well‑groomed personal appearance
  • Be coachable and willing to continually develop customer service skills
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license with safe driving record
  • Pass a criminal background check and drug test
  • Skill in computers, basic software, and internet; ability to learn database management
