Façade Surveyor – Fire Remediation & Social Housing

Our client is a well-established specialist contractor delivering fire remediation and façade refurbishment projects across London and the South East. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint an experienced Façade Surveyor to join their team.

Working across long-term social housing frameworks in Lewisham and Redbridge, you will play a key role in delivering façade remediation schemes, taking ownership of projects from survey through to completion. The role offers a mixture of site and office-based working, with site visits typically required once or twice per week.

The Role:

* Carry out façade surveys on occupied social housing and high-rise residential buildings.

* Survey external wall systems and identify defects requiring remediation.

* Support the delivery of fire remediation and façade replacement projects.

* Inspect brickwork, cladding and external building fabric.

* Survey buildings requiring façade strip-outs and replacement works.

* Produce detailed survey reports, recommendations and technical documentation.

* Liaise with clients, consultants, site teams and subcontractors.

* Monitor quality and ensure works comply with current fire safety and building regulations.

* Take ownership of projects and manage your workload with minimal supervision.

Requirements:

* Minimum 3 years' experience working on façade or fire remediation projects.

* Strong understanding of external wall systems, cladding and façade construction.

* Experience working on occupied residential or social housing projects.

* Ability to work independently and take full ownership of schemes.

* Excellent communication and reporting skills.

* Full UK Driving Licence.
