Reception Teacher

Reception Year Teacher – Full-time, maternity cover starting January 2026

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Reception pupils in line with the EYFS framework
• Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment
• Assess, record, and report on pupil progress in line with school policies
• Support pupils’ social and emotional development
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to whole-school initiatives
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and safeguarding at all times

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
• Experience teaching in Early Years or Reception classes
• Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to inspire and motivate young learners
• Commitment to professional development and safeguarding practices
