Our client is a multi-disciplined Compliance / Safety specialist, with a nationwide presence. They have recently won new water hygiene / legionella contracts in the South East, and require a knowledgeable and experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to join their growing team. You will be servicing a diverse range of commercial and public sector contracts, to conduct full ACOP L8 compliance tasks.

Candidates must be comfortable working independently on site regularly, and will be well-versed in industry guidelines. Salaries on offer are attractive, and benefits include: company vehicle, overtime and fuel card.

• Experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer within a well-established outfit
• Good understanding of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
• Able to work within teams and independently on projects
• Hardworking attitude
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
• Adaptable to changing travel needs

• Conducting a range of pre-planned Water Hygiene maintenance duties
• Shower head descales
• TMV servicing and maintenance
• Inspecting tanks
• Cleans and disinfections on cold water storage tanks
• Water sampling
• Temperature monitoring
• Keeping accurate records of completed works
• Representing the company in a professional manner
