Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Join Potters Bar Clinic in Potters Bar as a Maintenance Assistant where you will be part of creating a well‑presented and safe environment for some of the most vulnerable people in society. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will ensure the services facilities are fit for purpose, conduct audits to identify and repair any faults, and support the upkeep of the service through regular maintenance tasks and liaison with contractors.
You’ll receive all necessary training and have opportunities for career growth through Elysium Healthcare’s development courses.
Ensure that the service, buildings, facilities, and equipment are maintained and fit for purpose. Utilize good DIY skills to keep the safety of service users intact, assist in regular maintenance checks and repairs, liaise with a manager to report faults, and participate in a one‑week on‑call rota for emergency maintenance. Coordinate and support contractors, complete necessary paperwork and tool checks.
Qualifications- Previous experience within a maintenance role.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Show courtesy and respect to residents at all times.
- Attend and participate in training sessions and staff meetings.
- Comply with systems and procedures.
