RVC are looking for a full time Porter, 35-hour week, exact hours to be discussed agreed (normal pattern, 7:00am to 3:00pm).
To maintain a high level of portering duties whilst keeping an enthusiastic, hardworking, and flexible approach to work. Previous experience is required.
Please note:
This is a physically demanding role involving frequent lifting, carrying, loading and unloading.
- Physically fit and comfortable with regular lifting and carrying
- Able to safely handle heavy and bulky items
- Good awareness of manual-handling techniques (Training offered)
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods
- Able to work as part of a team and follow instructions
- Previous experience in porter, warehouse, removals, delivery or similar work is an advantage but not essential
Please note that a full, clean UK driving license is an essential requirement for this role.
