Director of Career and Technical Education

Starting Date: Immediately

Requirements:

• Valid Director of Career and Technical Education certification.
• 5 years teaching experience.
• Experience in school administration highly desirable.
• Valid PA Principal K-12 certification highly desirable.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Strong interpersonal and team building skills.

This position serves as the instructional leader for the career and technical education programs in the Pottstown School District. This position is responsible for the total operation of the career and technical programs for students in grades 9-12. The successful candidate will possess leadership, administrative, and supervisory skills, as well as the ability to promote community involvement.

Duties of the Director of Career and Technical Education include, but are not limited to, maintenance of pupil records for all CTE programs, preparing and maintaining the Perkins grant and all state and federal reports.

Responsibilities also include being a member of the high school administrative team in the management and leadership of the building , as well as meeting building and district goals in support of the Pottstown School District.
