Pharmacy Technician at Nuvem Rx provides safe, timely medication dispensing and exceptional customer service while ensuring compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations.

• Assist the pharmacist in serving patients and maintaining the pharmacy department.
• Sterilize surfaces and equipment and prepare the pharmacy for opening.
• Greet customers, answer questions, and receive prescriptions.
• Check prescription validity and process prescriptions electronically.
• Resolve issues such as rejected insurance claims.
• Select the appropriate medicine, measure dosages, and fill prescriptions.
• Sort, stock, label medication, and monitor inventory.
• Perform administrative tasks (e.g., record‑keeping) as assigned.
• Comply with all security measures and quality standards.
• Stay current with HIPAA, HITECH, and FWA credentialing.
• Assist the pharmacist with clinical and non‑clinical operations and document/report issues.
• Package orders according to policies and coordinate medication delivery.
• Communicate with insurance carriers to obtain payment for claims.
• Answer incoming phone calls for prescription orders, make outgoing follow‑ups, and triage calls for escalation.

• At least one year of proven experience as a pharmacy technician.
• Experience with Micro Merchant pharmacy system.
• Knowledge of medication and dosage calculations.
• Knowledge of pharmacy law and medical terminology.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Outstanding organizational skills.
• Reliable with a keen eye for details.
• Successful completion of a pharmacy technician program if required in your state of practice.

• Work-Life Balance:
  No nights, weekends, or most federal holidays.
• Hours:
  
  Mon/Tue 8:30 AM – 5 PM;
  Wed/Thu 8:30 AM – 6 PM;
  Fri 8:30 AM – 3 PM.
