Up to $80k for a Manufacturing Purchasing Role in Pottstown, PA!

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $75,000 - $80,000

• Purchase materials, supplies, and equipment required for operations.
• Research, evaluate, and select suppliers and vendors.
• Obtain and compare price quotations.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and contract terms.
• Create and process purchase orders.
• Monitor inventory levels and reorder materials as needed.
• Coordinate receipt, inspection, and storage of incoming materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory and purchasing records.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and reconciliations.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Track supplier performance regarding quality, cost, and delivery.
• Work closely with operations, production, warehouse, and finance departments.
• Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Prepare purchasing and inventory reports for management.
