Procurement / Purchasing, Inventory Control & Analysis
Manage purchasing for fabrication projects, including materials, components, hardware, and MRO.
Review production schedules, inventory levels, and project requirements to determine material needs and purchasing priorities
Source suppliers, obtain competitive quotes, and evaluate cost, quality, availability, and lead time
Create and manage purchase orders from initial order through delivery
Monitor supplier commitments and lead times, addressing shortages, delays, and material availability issues before they impact production
Coordinate purchasing requirements with production, engineering, and project management
Maintain vendor relationships and develop alternate sources when necessary
Track inventory, open orders, and material requirements through ERP/MRP systems
Resolve vendor issues involving pricing, quantities, delivery, and material quality
Support improvements in purchasing efficiency, material availability, inventory control, and cost
Requirements- US Citizenship or Permanent Residency (Green Card) are required.
At least 5 years purchasing, procurement, material planning, or production planning experience
Experience in manufacturing, metal fabrication, construction, or architectural / structural steel is preferred.
Hands‑on experience purchasing materials and managing vendors, purchase orders, and delivery schedules
Working knowledge of inventory management and ERP/MRP systems.
Ability to read and work from bills of materials, specifications, drawings, or other manufacturing documentation is a plus
Experience purchasing metals, aluminum, glass, hardware, finishes, or other construction-related materials is a plus
