Staff RN - Operating Room Shifts Available: 5x8 or 4x10 shifts. Limited Call rotation ( 1 day a week/1 weekend a month/Rotating holidays).Facility Information
Our client is a 219-bed, acute care hospital offering an extensive range of services, including inpatient and outpatient, medical, surgical, diagnostic, and emergency care, a nationally recognized Cancer Center as well as primary care, family practice, and pediatric offices. With 260 physicians representing 40 medical specialties, we serve the healthcare needs of residents in Pottstown and surrounding areas.

The successful candidate will oversee the safe, effective, and efficient care of patients in the operating room by sterilizing equipment, preparing rooms, and assessing patients before and after surgery. They will also assist the surgeon during the procedure. The operating room nurse should be a strong communicator with a friendly personality, and have the ability and physical stamina to provide a high level of care under pressure.
Qualifications- This position requires an RN to have OR Experience (More than just a Surgery Center). They must be able to do Ortho, Spine, GYN, Cysto Cases. If they are not experienced, they need to have completed a valid Periop 101 course.
- ASN required
- Current BLS
- Active state of Pennsylvania RN license
