We are looking for a certified Group Fitness Instructor who loves what they do and also knows that a group exercise class can engage a member like nothing else! An instructor who understands that connecting with members in class can inspire and set members on a track to a healthier life! If that’s you - read on!

• Free individual YMCA membership - access to all branches!
• Access to in-branch babysitting while you work, up to 2 hours, where available

• 18+ years of age and high school diploma or equivalent
• YMCA Foundations of Group Exercise certification with experience or National certification (1)
• Exhibit strong leadership skills; possess a passion for member service, building and maintaining a culture of member service excellence

• Set an example of healthy living and personal fitness
• Prepare routines and/or choreography within YMCA standards
• Provide support and encouragement to members and reinforce healthy lifestyles
• Ensure the safety and well-being of members and staff. Notify supervisor of any safety hazards or concerns within the facility
• Provide excellent service to all members and notify supervisor of member needs, supplies or other items needed to ensure program quality and member satisfaction
• Ensure that safe movement and technique is utilized by every member in all classes
• Maintain knowledge of emergency and safety procedures and maintain records on any incidents
