Insurance Sales & Customer Service Representative

• $20/hour or more , depending on experience and licenses
• Unlimited sales commission based on individual sales production

• Build relationships with prospective and existing customers
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate insurance products
• Develop leads, schedule appointments, and follow up with prospects
• Generate new business through helpful, value-focused sales conversations
• Assist customers with auto, home, renters, life, and other insurance needs
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service
• Answer questions about coverage, eligibility, policy changes, transfers, and billing
• Help customers understand their options and make informed coverage decisions
• Contribute to individual sales production and overall team goals
• Work collaboratively with the team to deliver a positive customer experience

Required:

• An active Pennsylvania Property & Casualty license, Life & Health license, or both before hire
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
  
  Comfort speaking with customers in person and over the phone
• Ability to use computers and navigate multiple systems
• Good organization, attention to detail, and multitasking skills
• A positive attitude and ability to work well with a team
• Motivation to sell, build relationships, and contribute to agency growth

Preferred:

• Previous insurance sales or customer service experience
• Experience in inside sales, outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing
• A track record of meeting sales goals or quotas
• Familiarity with insurance products and customer relationship management
