Project Coordinator – Commercial Construction Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Coordinator with a strong background in commercial construction. The ideal candidate will excel in managing multiple facets of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

• Coordinate and oversee commercial construction projects from inception to completion.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
• Collaborate with construction management teams to ensure project specifications and standards are met.
• Handle project-related documentation and communications, including Requests for Information (RFIs).
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

• Proven experience in project coordination within the commercial construction industry.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with construction management processes and procedures.

• Certification or degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction projects is a plus.

The role requires working in a dynamic and collaborative construction environment. The candidate should be prepared to manage projects both on-site and remotely, with adherence to safety protocols and standards. Dress code is typically business casual, with appropriate safety gear required on construction sites.

This is a Permanent position based out of Poughkeepsie, NY.

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 – $150000.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
