Project Architect (Part-Time)

Frisenda Architects is a design-driven architecture studio based in the Hudson Valley, working across residential, cultural, educational, and athletic projects. We are seeking an experienced Project Architect to join our growing studio and lead projects from concept through construction.
Responsibilities- Lead projects through all phases, from initial client meetings through construction
- Develop and coordinate design concepts, technical solutions, and construction documents
- Manage schedules, budgets, and internal staffing
- Serve as primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors
- Coordinate zoning, planning, and building department submissions
- Participate in construction administration, including site visits, submittals, RFIs, and OAC meetings
- Mentor junior staff and guide production workflows
- Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch)
- 5–10+ years of experience in a U.S.
-based architecture firm - Licensed or licensure in progress preferred
- Strong experience with construction documents and project management
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite (required)
- Knowledge of NYS building codes and zoning a plus
- Must be local to the Hudson Valley for in-person collaboration and site visits
- $55–$65/hour
, commensurate with experience - Part-time, in-person position with a consistent weekly schedule during normal business hours
