Location: City of Poughkeepsie
Job Summary
Per diem Pathologist position at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie, New York.
Responsibilities- Review anatomic pathology specimens.
- Perform frozen section evaluations.
- Interpret cytology cases (GYN and non‑GYN).
- Conduct rapid onsite cytology assessments.
- Participate in occasional autopsies.
- MD or DO with completion of an Anatomic and Clinical Pathology residency.
- Board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
- Pathology experience preferred; new graduates welcome.
- Subspecialty interest or fellowship preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and strong desire to interact with clinicians and laboratory staff.
- NY State medical license(s).
Competitive hourly rate and eligibility to participate in a 401(k) plan.
LocationVassar Brothers Medical Center, 361 Canal Road, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601. Approximately 75 miles north of New York City.
