Summary: The Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) is seeking knowledgeable and enthusiastic tutors to provide academic support to our students. Tutors will work one-on-one or in small groups to assist students in achieving their academic goals across a variety of subject areas, including but not limited to:
- Mathematics:
Developmental/Remedial through Pre-Calculus, Statistics
- Provide academic support through individual and group tutoring sessions
- Teach effective learning strategies to help students succeed in coursework
- Support students in developing study skills, time management, and confidence
- Adapt tutoring strategies to meet the diverse needs of students
- Bachelor's degree in the relevant content area or equivalent work experience
- 1-2 years of experience working with college or high school students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead group tutoring sessions
- Prior teaching or tutoring experience
- Experience working with English as a Second Language (ESL) students
- Knowledge and experience supporting underrepresented or first-generation college students
