We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Salon Assistant to join our team.
This entry-level position is perfect for someone passionate about the beauty industry who is eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced, professional salon environment. The assistant will support stylists with daily tasks to ensure smooth operations and exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities- Greet clients and ensure a welcoming, professional experience
- Shampoo, condition, and prepare clients for styling services
- Assist stylists with blow-drying, color application, foiling, and other services
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of salon stations, tools, and equipment
- Launder towels, capes, and other materials as needed
- Keep stock of hair care products and assist with inventory restocking
- Sweep and sanitize between clients to maintain salon cleanliness standards
- Provide general support for stylists and front desk as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current cosmetology license or enrollment in an accredited cosmetology school
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Energetic, reliable, and able to take direction well
- Passion for the beauty industry and a willingness to learn
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs
