Poughkeepsie, New YorkPart Time 22 hrs a week. $19.00/hr
DUTIES:
The Outreach Assistant will be responsible for planning and coordinating outreach events in Orange County & assisting the Outreach Coordinator in Dutchess County. The Outreach Assistant will be responsible for interacting with potential enrollees to explain the program and will be expected to attend some of the wellness events put on at the both locations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a veteran.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required, associate degree preferred.
- Self-Starting, motivated individual able to work flexible hours.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills required.
- An understanding of the population being served, its needs, intervention strategies, culture, and available services.
