Orthopedics Physician Assistant

Health Care System seeks to add another full-time Physician Assistant to their orthopedic team. This position is focused in the hospital or ASC. The Physician Assistant will provide first assist (general, total joints, extremities and fractures), call schedule is 1/9 weekends, ED Consults (fracture care), rounding and inpatient management. The schedule is four ten-hour day shifts per week.

Successful Physician Assistant should be PANCE-Certified. Ideal candidate should have some surgical experience (in any area) but will train a recent graduate with an orthopedic surgical rotation.

The location is in the beautiful Hudson Valley area near Poughkeepsie, NY. The area provides lots of universities, affordable living, great schools, skiing, many lakes, hiking and a lot of great outdoors.

Compensation: depends on experience level and includes incentive bonus and paid call. Full benefits package includes five weeks of vacation, medical, dental, vacation, STD, LTD, CME and 401k profit sharing.
