Travel Radiologic Technologist | Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology (IR) – Poughkeepsie, NY
Assignment: 13 weeks
Start Date: 10/27
Shift: 8-hour days, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Mon-Fri, rotating call
Hours/Week: 40
On Call: Rotating

Role Overview:
The Special Procedures Neuro Vascular Technologist performs imaging procedures and assists in Interventional Radiology, Neuro Endovascular procedures, and Vascular Surgery (Hybrid).

Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians with procedures: patient positioning, sterile tray prep, maintaining sterile field, circulating and scrubbing, drawing contrast, operating/monitoring equipment, and alerting team to patient changes

• Verify exams in RIS system, archive to PACS, and manage supply/inventory systems (Hi-IQ)

• Daily quality control and inventory management

• Follow proper protocols and procedures for patient positioning, department, and hospital standards

• EMR:
  Cerner

Requirements:

• ARRT Certification

• Valid NYS Radiologic Technologist License

• NYS Injection License

• BLS Certification

• Minimum 2 years clinical experience in Radiologic Technology

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred:

• Minimum 2 years clinical experience in Interventional Radiology / Cardiology
