Imaging Services Coordinator - Per Diem

Assumes responsibility, under the direction of the Supervisor of Clerical Operations, for the coordination of all clerical, scheduling and billing activities at the Imaging Services main desk, which includes the Diagnostic X-Ray, CT Scan, Nuclear medicine and referring physicians. Often the first contact of the department of Imaging Services and the Hospital, representing both in a professional, courteous and efficient manner.

• Education:
  
  Requires high school or equivalent; general knowledge of high school subject matter possibly including sciences. One year of college or specialized post‑high school training in medical terminology and medical office procedures preferred.
• Experience:
  
  Requires a minimum of one year of radiology clerical experience with knowledge of processes, procedures and different modalities.
• License: N/A

• Manual:
  Little or no manual skills/motor coord & finger dexterity
• Occupational:
  Little or no potential for occupational risk
• Physical Effort:
  Sedentary/light effort. May exert up to 10 lbs. force
• Physical Environment:
  Generally pleasant working conditions
