Position Overview:As a CNA at The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at River Valley, you will work as part of a dynamic team to provide care and support to our residents. Whether you're a recent graduate or an experienced CNA, we welcome you to apply. In this role, you will:
- Provide compassionate resident care as directed by nursing staff
- Assist residents with hygiene, bathing, and ADLs (activities of daily living)
- Pass meal trays, feed residents, and monitor food and fluid intake
- Monitor residents, reporting any changes in health or concerns to the nurse
Maintain a clean and healthy environment, ensuring comfort and safety for residents
- Successful completion of a CNA program
- Current NY State Certification as a CNA
- Good standing with the State Registry
- Ability to work as a team player
- Must meet the requirements set by the Department of Health
