Performs a variety of clerical and computer related activities and phlebotomy with minimal supervision.
This individual interacts with patients of all ages and works effectively with others to meet the needs of the patients.
, including verification, centrifugation, labeling, and routing, while providing timely and professional phone support.
, such as receiving specimens, monitoring pending logs, placing test orders, printing labels, and preparing reference lab send-outs.
, including safety hazards, discrepancies, system problems, and workplace incidents, while documenting concerns and offering solutions.
, completing required education, demonstrating proficiency in new procedures, participating in training, and pursuing ongoing skill development.

Education:
High School diploma / GED or equivalent is required.
Experience:
Prefer six months of phlebotomy experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
Previous computer experience is preferred.
Effective interpersonal skills are also required.
