Role And Responsibilities

Join our established team as a Senior People Soft Administrator to provide mission‑critical support for our People Soft HCM 9.2 application. This role is essential for maintaining system stability, security, and performance.

  • Provide full lifecycle support for People Soft, including maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
  • Act as the subject‑matter expert, delivering best‑practice guidance for Benefits Administration, HCM and Payroll.
  • Administer People Soft HCM on Linux in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) across production, development and test.
  • Leverage OCI Autonomous Database, People Soft Cloud Manager for refreshes and migrations.
  • Migrate code and data using Application Designer and Data Mover.
  • Provide all‑tier production support and log service requests with Oracle Support.
  • Develop Linux and Ansible scripts to streamline administration.
  • Plan and execute People Tools upgrades and new releases, including DPK installations.
  • Maintain People Tools upgrade packages and apply Program‑Related Patches.
  • Collaborate with developers on custom installations and contingency planning.
  • Remediate vulnerabilities from security scans, apply necessary patches.
  • Support IS Office during the annual Authority to Operate process.
  • Advise on People Soft Multi‑Factor Authentication.
  • Provide Oracle database recommendations and performance troubleshooting.
  • Assist developers troubleshooting SQL and People Code logs.
  • Install developer workstation applications on Windows.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a public trust security clearance Preferred Education

Bachelor’s Degree

Required Technical And Professional Expertise
  • Comprehensive understanding of People Soft and Cloud architecture.
  • 7+ years of progressive People Soft Administration experience.
  • Deployment and management of People Soft in OCI, including Autonomous Database and People Soft Cloud Manager.
  • Experience with DPK installations using YAML.
  • Proficiency with People Tools administration tools:
    Change Assistant, Application Designer, Data Mover, People Soft Test Framework.
  • Advanced Linux command line and Bash scripting, Ansible configuration management.
  • Web Logic administration and configuration, Oracle DBA skills in Linux.
  • SQL performance troubleshooting and database recommendations.
  • SSO implementation using SAML, LDAP, Ping Federate.
  • Security audits using People Soft Auditing Framework; continuity of operations and disaster recovery.
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
  • Functional support and applying People Soft Best Practices.
  • Front‑end web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, documentation and training.
