Software Application and Automation Manager

Bridge View is seeking an Automation & Software Development Manager to support strategic technology initiatives and lead three teams across software development, automation (OpCon/RPA), and project resource management. This role partners closely with senior leadership to modernize automation, enhance Dev Ops pipelines, and guide cloud-forward projects. The position is leadership-focused with minimal hands‑on coding (10% or less).

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor teams across software development, automation, and operations
• Oversee daily operations including ticketing, resourcing, and project assignments
• Drive automation strategy, Dev Ops pipeline improvements, and CI/CD maturity
• Support cloud migration initiatives and application modernization efforts
• Evaluate technology landscapes and recommend consolidation or upgrades
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and SOW reviews
• Collaborate with stakeholders across IT and business functions
• Guide major initiatives including Workday integration, Databricks projects, and LOS upgrades

Experience Required

• 7+ years in software development leadership or management
• Automation/Dev Ops experience (CI/CD, RPA, OpCon, workflow tools)
• Experience managing onshore and offshore teams
• Strong vendor management and project leadership skills
• ITIL v5 certification or ability to obtain within one year
• Financial services background a plus but not required
