About the Position

As a Systems Support Apprentice at IBM, you’ll work with a seasoned group of engineers and mentors to support our clients’ systems. You will have the opportunity to apply your hardware knowledge and experience using the latest tools and technologies.

IBM Apprenticeship Program is a registered apprenticeship recognized by the Department of Labor (DOL). Upon completion, you will receive a nationally‑recognized credential and be eligible to apply for full‑time roles at IBM.

• Work with client systems to provide support and maintenance.

• Learn and apply new skills through hands‑on training and project work.

• Collaborate with managers, mentors, and peers to progress through the skills roadmap.

• Drive and eagerness to learn
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Knowledge or experience in one of the following:
  • General networking and infrastructure fundamentals
  • Server or storage management

High School Diploma/GED

Associate’s Degree or College Diploma

• Willingness to complete the apprenticeship requirements
• Some experience with:
  Windows, Linux, networking fundamentals, or server/storage management

Compensation ranges from $60,800 to $66,880 per year, with a full‑time schedule. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, mental health, paid holidays, paid sick time, paid vacation, life insurance, 401(k), and more.
